Het Museum is gewijd aan de in Oegeklooster geboren Titus Brandsma (1881 – 1942), pater Karmeliet, zijn vele activiteiten (journalist, uitgever, hoogleraar, weldoener, organisator, scholenoprichter, verzetsheld) en aan zijn betekenis in de moderne tijd.
Het museum presenteert in een vaste expositie het veelzijdige en veelbewogen leven van Titus Brandsma door middel van brieven, ansichtkaarten, boeken, artikelen, foto’s, schilderijen en diorama’s. De veelheid aan activiteiten van Titus Brandsma (o.a. als journalist, uitgever, hoogleraar, weldoener, organisator, scholenoprichter en verzetsheld) wordt nader toegelicht. Bovendien organiseert het museum jaarlijks nieuwe wisseltentoonstellingen die op de vaste expositie aansluiten en deze ook aanvulling geven.
